RE: Letter of support for the STORY MILL Concept Master Plan

To Whom It May Concern:

Green building and design was what moved me into professionally entering the “sustainable business arena.” Six years later, I am ever-more excited about the possibilities of holistically integrating the concepts of green building and design into communities, especially when that community is mine.

At the risk of appearing immodest, but to give this letter context of support, I offer a brief overview of my background:

After reading about the STORY MILL concept, I found myself literally exhilarated – it appears that this project is going to be done right, and that this is not an attempt to put a few green spins on what is just “development as usual.” Furthermore, a development like this couldn’t thrive in a town that wouldn’t be open to new ideologies, and so even the best plan wouldn’t take root in infertile ground. However, Bozeman is ripe for this… I am positive that the Bozeman community members will embrace this new center whole-heartedly. In doing so, Story Mill is going to become a model for other sustainable community developments, and hence, the virtuous circle of catalyzing positive changes continues.

It would be my honor to be a part of this project in any way going forward — especially if I could help expedite the project so that I could move our offices there sooner rather than later!

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch for any reason.

With gratitude for your consideration of this truly timely, enriching project,
