Excited to Relocate

I am a resident of Bridger View Mobile Home Park in Bozeman, MT. I heard that you have expressed a desire that the current tenants in the park receive fair and dignified treatment during the sale and preparations for redevelopment of this property. I would like to inform you of my personal experiences.
I own and occupy a 1963 10’ x 50’ trailer. As you probably know, any trailer as old as mine, even in good condition, is not up to code and not generally accepted as a new arrival into most parks. Mine needs a new roof, furnace and kitchen range, not to mention updated wiring, etc.
So I believe that it is of negative value, as it will cost more to move or dispose of it than it’s worth of the market.
Chaucer Silverson and Kath Williams, in the GoBuild office, put me in touch with HRDC, where I learned that I can qualify for a low income, federally guaranteed home loan in the Butte market. In my 63 years, I had not dreamed of home ownership. Butte is a favorite town of mine and since I have recently retired, I’m able and really excited to relocate—and into a real house!
I want to say, too, that in addition to the generosity above, and their guidance, they were always gracious, encouraging, congratulating, friendly and warm hearted; and this was in the face of my outright hostility on first-meeting, in public.
I want to thank you, too, for your concern for the welfare of your tenants in Bridger View. Since this has come up I have driven through most of the parks in the Bozeman area, and this really is, to my taste, the most pleasant, most inviting to a diversity of personalities, and the best located park in the Gallatin valley. I have lived here and enjoyed the park (much more than the trailer) for sixteen years.
Sincerely,
Julie Reid
